Of course, unemployment isn't the type of measurement that a good conservative cares about. No, a good conservative has one, and only one measurement for the economy. That would be the stock market. How did the stock market do during the Presidency? Well, much like unemployment, it crashed in the early days, but would start an impressive rebound in 2003. Of course, all that wealth created surprisingly few jobs. 

Oh yeah ... one more thing.

By the end of the Bush presidency, all of that wealth would be destroyed as the markets plummeted, bringing to mind the year 1929. Thanks George!
