I don't care. I don't care if O.J. Simpson murdered Nicole Simpson. I don't care if O.J. Simpson kidnapped anyone. I don't care about anything having to do with O.J. Simpson.

There are district attorneys who care, for good reason. There are average American citizens who have been empaneled to sit on a jury at one of his trials who care, for good reason. I don't have to care. Every news channel on the planet can devote 24/7 coverage to Simpson, but I will not care.

No crime that he may or may not have committed is in anyway a threat to me. If he committed the crime, then I suppose his being sent to prison is a good thing. However, let's not pretend that anything he did threatens our way of life. Let's not pretend that his crimes represent anything about the human condition. Let's not pretend that this is real news.
