Gov. Rod Blagojevich of Illinois has been taken into federal custody this morning. Yes, he's a Democrat. Obviously there are crooked Dems too, just not as many. Here's hoping the party throws the crooked SOB under the bus.
The prosecutor? Patrick Fitzgerald. He's the guy who got Scooter Libby convicted.
