Okay, the funny name comes from an old boss of Mustang Bobby who would say "bark bark woof woof" instead of "etc etc".

The good posts come from the fact that Mustang Bobby seems to be an intelligent liberal with a good eye for both the most interesting news stories, and the funny bits as well.

The excellent writing might come from the fact that he writes novels and short stories and plays and stuff.

I have no idea where the superior web design came from, but I didn't know you could make a blogger blog look that cool. (Is it a blogger blog? I think so, but ...)
