BarbinMD at DailyKos says ...

8 Words of Wisdom for Week Ending 3/27/2009 #8
Morons.
The world of the right wing blogger is a fascinating one. The constant need to manufacture fake outrage. The inability to grasp the most simple of truths. The phony hatred of the media as a tool of manipulation. It must be tiring.

Now truthfully, their posts may read as moronic, but I think the bigger problem may be as simple as laziness. Conservatives tend to think simply. If it sounds good on first hearing ... if it sounds even remotely plausible, then run with it. Facts are simply not as important as conservative ideals. If they don't dismiss the idea that learning is important outright, they certain dismiss those with the most education. They tend to make conclusions in the absence of evidence, and then hold fast to those conclusions regardless of real world outcomes. Oops, I'm off on a tangent here.

Anyway, their laziness manifests itself in the following manner: They hear something that sounds like grist for their mill and instead of researching the idea, they just go ahead and put it out there. If they're wrong, they don't care because they've already manufactured their next outrage. They just keep going forward revealing yet another truth about the conservative: They are incapable of self-reflection.

It takes a special type of person to just put one's head down and bull forward while saying the dumbest, most inaccurate things possible, while simultaneously convincing yourself that you are a genius and that you are, in fact, right. Hell. They are morons.
