The man primarily responsible for taking the Senate and the House in 2006, and, along with Barack Obama, responsible for increasing those margins in both houses in 2008 was Gov. Howard Dean. He has left his spot as President of the DNC and I doubt there is a single non-establishment Democrat anywhere in this country that doesn't recognize that this party, and this country, is better off because of Howard Dean. (Yes, that's me with the Governor.)
