8 Thoughts About the Election of Barack Obama #3
There was a clear choice.
One man represented the future and the other represented the past.
One man represented change and the other represented a continuation of the current administration.
One man ran a campaign that attempted to inspire us while the other attempted to divide us by exploiting our fears, exploiting our prejudices.
One man said things are bad but we can come together and make them better while the other man didn't seem to know just how bad things were.
One man looked cool, and calm, and confident while the other seemed perpetually angry and overwhelmed.
One man chose a distinguished Senator who had proudly served for over 30 years while the other chose a Governor of questionable intellect and questionable talent.
The right man won and while the other did not.
