Today, the Electoral College, arguably the most undemocratic institution of our democracy, will meet and cast their votes for Barack Obama or John McCain. Today is the day that the new President is officially elected to office. That man will be Barack Obama. Sadly, the inauguration is still 36 days away. God help us.
