The time has come. If the Republicans want to filibuster, force them to actually do so. Make them talk and talk and talk and justify their attempted destruction of the American economy. (Hell, make that the world economy.)

Interestingly, the Republicans refused to allow a vote on this. They no longer believe in voting. For the record, the Democratic minority of the Senate that served from 2002 - 2006 in the Bush administration actually used the filibuster sparingly. The Republicans are using it every chance they get. Hypocrisy from the right you say? Shocking.

Even more annoying is that none of the articles I read call this what it is: the Republicans nuking the economy by filibuster. What's wrong with the word filibuster when that is the tactic in play?
