It really isn't possible to serve justice to the perpetrators of a genocide, especially one that saw over 500,000 innocents slaughtered in a 100 day period. However, the conviction of former Rwandan military officials Theoneste Bagosora, Anatole Nsengiyumva, and Aloys Ntabakuze should bring some measure of satisfaction.

It should also be noted that the families of the victims of this genocide haven't been calling for the deaths of these men. As one man who lost his parents and seven siblings said ...
Let him think about what he did for the rest of his life.
Showing that type on honor in the face of that kind of personal tragedy would be unusual in this country.
