Quick 8: Where Do We Go From Here?

  1. Up to now, this site has focused on the election and more specifically, on following Obama to the White House. Now that we've won, on what will this site focus?
  2. Over the next two weeks, we'll continue to look back at the election and finish up the series of posts on the election, the election video series and the look at the campaigns.
  3. I will also finish up the series of posts on my political philosophy. Not that everyone cares, but if you are reading this blog, all two or three of you, it will hope you know where I am coming from.
  4. I'm deep into reading about FDR, the New Deal and the Great Depression and we'll be taking a look at that period of history and relating it to the current crisis and to the upcoming Obama administration.
  5. We'll look at how the right wing is trying to deny Obama the mandate he clearly received from the American people on election night. Nobody loses worse than a Republican.
  6. We will look at the two Senate races where there is no winner yet (AK and MN) and we will look at getting Jim Martin elected as the next Senator from the great state of Georgia.
  7. We will look a lot more at the policy options available to President Obama in the run up to the inauguration.
  8. After the inauguration, we will hold Obama and the Congress to their promises and we will spotlight and ridicule the steps the right wing take to oppose them. Should be fun!
