Quick 8: Election Day 2008

1. If you haven't already voted, you MUST vote today. You don't get to sit this election out. No matter what is going on with your life, you have to get to your polling place. This stuff matters. If you need help finding your polling place, use Obama's Vote for Change site.
2. If you have any free time at all, call your local Obama campaign office and volunteer to drive people to the polls, make phone calls or knock on doors. Every vote matters in this election. Drag people to the polls if necessary. You can find local Get Out the Vote events at this link.
3. Educate yourself on the down ballot races. Vote a partisan Democratic ticket. Read up on the amendments and such that are on your local ballot. Read up on the non-partisan races such as judgeships. From the Presidency to your local Board of Education, every conservative we keep out of the office is a favor to our nation.
4. Follow the news throughout the day every chance you have. The best places on the web in my experience for election day news will be The Daily Kos and Talking Points Memo.
5. Tomorrow night, return to Talking Points Memo for their awesome Scorecard. Real time results for the race for the Presidency, as well as all House and Senate races.
   
6. As Kos has reminded us, leave it all on the road. If there's anything you can do to bring this election home for the good guys, do it.
7. Tomorrow is the day we take this country back. It is the responsibility of all progressive and liberal Americans to restore this nation to its former glory. We can do it. We will do it.
