On November 4th, 2008, voters went to the polls and soundly rejected conservatism. Fortunately, washed up rock "star" Ted Nugent is going to ride in on his white horse and save conservatism from obsolescence. Stop laughing I'm serious. Well, not really.

Ted's problem is that he doesn't really understand what happened on election day. The American people did not embrace "conservative values and ideologies". He doesn't seem to be aware that Obama won the White House running against conservatism. He doesn't seem aware that the Democrats have increased their margins in both houses of Congress to levels the Republicans couldn't even muster in their 1994 revolution. In language that even Mr. Nugent might understand, conservatives were on the receiving end of an ass-whoppin'.

Conservatives bitch and moan constantly about celebrities interjecting their politics into the public discourse. Yet, when the rare celebrity is a conservative, they embrace every word out of their mouths. If the best they can come up with is Ted Nugent, they should just stick to their bitching.
