Quick 8: Slandering the Republicans

Consider this fighting fire with fire. Unlike the attacks leveled on Mr. Obama, I believe the following attacks to be either true on the facts, or matters of subjective opinion.
  1. Saxby Chambliss hates war heroes. He feels that his service to the country as a businessman is more important than that of Max Cleland or Jim Martin, both of whom fought in Vietnam.
  2. Todd Palin hates the United States of America. I believe this to be a reasonable assumption considering that he belonged to a political party, the Alaskan Independence Party, whose central premise is that Alaska should secede from the Union. Except for two months, he was a member of the AIP from October 1995 to July 2002.
  3. Except for two months, between October 1995 and July 2002, Sarah Palin was sleeping with an anti-American.
  4. Sarah Palin is stupid. There's simply no other conclusion one can draw after watching her interview with Katie Couric. Oh wait. She was sandbagged by difficult questions about what papers and magazines she reads. I guess she was afraid to say that her preferred reading materials are from the John Birch Society?
  5. John McCain and Sarah Palin are unrepentant liars. Truth be told, if they told the truth about the current political and economic situations facing our country, they would essentially be advocating for Barack Obama. It must suck to be a Republican in 2008.
  6. Ronald Reagan was an awful President. During his years in office, the federal deficit ballooned like never before. Still, however, everyone in the Republican party looks to Reagan as a prime example of fiscal conservatism. This is proof positive that conservatism is a bogus ideology that cannot be shown to have worked anywhere at anytime.
  7. Rush Limbaugh is a racist. I know, that one was easy, right? Well folks, with a black man looking to be elected in two weeks, expect the racism to flow like wine from the mouths of all the Republican commentators. You can find numerous documented incidents of racism by Limbaugh at Media Matters.
  8. George W. Bush is the worst President in the history of this nation. Can anyone tell me who was worse?
