Quick 8: Reasons to Donate to the Obama Campaign

  1. Because you can get the super duper awesome official first edition Obama / Biden car magnet! My wife and I have one on our car. Don't you want to be cool like us?
  2. Because the RNC has started their, despicable robo call campaign accusing Obama of working closely with a domestic terrorist. The Obama campaign will need to respond in every state where these snakes run these ads.
  3. Because we need to enact Obama's health care plan. Enacting this plan alone will provide a much needed boost to the economy, will improve the quality of life for millions of uninsured Americans and will save American small businesses money.
  4. Because Obama will lower taxes for the middle class, not just for the rich. The time has come to recognize that the American economy is doing well when the American middle class is doing well.
  5. Because Obama also recognizes that we have to make the possibility of realizing the American Dream available to all Americans by combating poverty. This issue is so often ignored by politicians but I'm confident that with Obama's history as a community organizer, he can begin to alleviate the struggle and suffering of so much of the poor.
  6. Because Obama recognizes the importance of teachers in education. Republicans treat teachers like they are the problem, rather than an important part of the solution. Obama has respect for the profession and believes that teachers should be given more control over how to teach in their own classrooms and believes that teachers need to be rewarded more handsomely.
  7. Because this race isn't over yet. Obama is up big, but we have a way to go still. We are 18 days until the election and a lot can change in that time, especially when you're locked in pitch battle with the Republican slime machine. It's important that Obama continues to get his message out there. If we let up know, this race will become close again.
  8. Because otherwise, this guy might be your President.
There are a million other reasons so I'm sort of glad I've limited myself to eight. If you can afford it, give a few bucks to the good guys. It's an investment in the future of our country.
