Quick 8: One Sleazy Day

1. John McCain has no shame. He is, possibly, the biggest fraud in the history of American politics. Sure, George "The Compassionate Conservative" Bush was a phony, but he was obvious. McCain could SELL it. Here's a short message to those who believe he's a prisoner of his own campaign and that he seems grumpy because he doesn't like the direction of his campaign: Grow up, wake up and stop being stupid. This is McCain's campaign and he is responsible for every second of every ad and every second of every speech that he or his surrogates deliver.
2. John McCain has not done a single courageous thing since he left Vietnam. He is a political coward of the highest stripe. The concept of a stand on principle is foreign to him. He makes George W. Bush look like Teddy Roosevelt.
3. I keep thinking of words to describe Sarah Palin such as "bimbo" and"harpy", but honestly, the words come off a tad misogynist. Well, maybe more than a tad. I won't use that language. I'll say it like this: Sarah Palin is a despicable piece of crap.
4. BarbinMD at Daily Kos says, "At what point do we call the tactics of John McCain and Sarah Palin for what they are? Hate mongering."
5. Republicans at the hate rallies run by McCain and Palin yell "Terrorist!", "Treason!", "Sit down, boy!" and "Kill him!". Who's surprised? The Republicans have been the party of hate for longer than most of us have been alive.
6. This is just the start. The McCain camp will not let up. They've barely even begun the hate. Look for it to take an even more dramatic racist turn in the next few weeks.
7. Not tonight though. McCain doesn't have the guts (political coward) to make these types of attacks directly to the face of his adversary. He can barely even look him in the eyes!
8. None of this will matter in the end. Obama wins big. Nobody likes desperate and McCain is desperate.
