Republicans are brazen. Even if they don't know how to use it (I'm looking at you Senator McCain ... moron), they are very aware that we are in the age of the Internet. Virtually everything a politician says is on audio or video somewhere on the net. So it really does take a special kind of person to stand up in front of the country, knowing that they'll be caught, during a debate no less, and lie, lie, lie.

Granted, when you're running on a conservative platform in the middle of an economic crisis, you have to avoid the issues as much as possible. That's just good politics I suppose. No issues? Time to lie.

Sarah Palin stood at that podium last night and claimed that Joe Biden supported McCain's Iraq policies right up until the moment he joined the Obama campaign. This isn't an exaggeration. This isn't Gov. Palin misspeaking. It is a calculated lie. TPM Election Central punks out the McCain campaign for this lie.
